Finance Committee

Dear Prospective Member,

The Finance Committee serves as a backbone for the Freshman Sophomore Business Club by working to obtain corporate sponsorships, organizing and successfully executing fundraisers, and managing the budget. The committee plays an active role in networking and preserving relationships with the business community throughout Cal and the Bay Area. The Finance Committee also serves as the club’s representative in the ASUC, providing the club with a link to greater student community. Each year, the committee strives to maintain the club’s current sponsorships, as well as reach out to potential donors. The Finance Committee also plans and hosts the annual school-wide FSBC Poker Tournament. Each committee member is encouraged to bring individual creativity and innovative insight to establish a balanced fund for FSBC. In addition to FSBC’s overarching vision, the Finance Committee also carries its own set of goals and vision to enable FSBC success be more profoundly realized.
